Let me tell that there is a big difference between deactivating and deleting a Facebook account. On deactivating, you can recover your account at any time but on deleting it, all the data will be erased from your account and you will not be able to log-in to your account again. HOW TO PERMANENTLY DELETE YOUR FACEBOOK ACCOUNT:
1. Log into your Facebook (Social Media) account as you normally do and then click on the link given below:
https://www.facebook.com/help/delete_account
2. On clicking on the link provided above, you will see a page as shown below. So just click on the Delete My Account option.
3. Enter your Password in the field provided and then complete the security
check by entering the captcha in the blank field.
4. After performing the previous step, you will see a window notifying you about the deactivation of your account.
5. Finally click on the Okay option, now you must have been logged out from your Facebook account.
Note: Your account will be successfully deleted only if you don't log into your Facebook account within the next 14 days.
Your account will be successfully deleted, if you have followed all the above steps provided here correctly.
